Construction Skills Queensland Short Courses Building Program
CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry.
Construction Skills Queensland Small Business Program
Under the Construction Skills Queensland's (CSQ) Small Business Program 2024-25, which runs from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025., eligible participants must own or be an employee of an eligible Building and Construction Small Business (less than 20 employees).
Construction Skills Queensland Higher Qualifications Building Program
Construction Skills Queensland's, Higher Qualifications Building Program is an initiative of Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ). CSQ is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry. CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry.

All complaints and appeals directed to MPAQ will be dealt with in the utmost timely and professional manner. Complaints and appeals are taken seriously at MPAQ, and will be investigated without prejudice with the intent to resolve all matters as soon as possible.
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the course will be refunded minus an admin fee equal to 10% of the total enrolment fee. For cancellations made within 30 days and before 14 days prior to the course, the enrolment fee will be credited to your MPAQ account for use within 12 months on another training course, minus an administration fee equal to 10% of the total enrolment fee. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the course will not be refunded. No refunds or credits will be issued for participants who fail to attend and/or achieve competency.
If MPAQ cancels the course, your course fees can be transferred to the next available course or refunded in full.
Issuing of Certificates
Upon successful completion of the course that the student has enrolled in, the student will receive one of the following:
- Statement of Attainment - If the student was enrolled in an accredited nationally recognised course.
- Certificate of Completion - If the student was enrolled in a non-accredited course.
The student will be sent a digital copy via email, and a hard copy is also posted to the address nominated on the student’s enrolment form.
Reissue of Certificates
Current and past students seeking a statement of attainment re-print must contact the Training Services Team via phone or email and must submit their photo identification for verification of identity. A fee of $30.00 applies for the search, reprint, and postage of the certificate.
The fee is to be paid prior to the search being conducted and is non-refundable. Students should allow up to 10 working days for the receipt of the replacement certificate.
- The reissued certificate will be mailed to the student to the address as advised by the student. A copy of the reissued certificate will be kept on the student’s file.
