This workshop will enable individuals working in plumbing businesses to gain a better understanding of the relevant legislation, standards and technical requirements of plumbing work.

It will review relevant legislation, notifiable works, the role of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and the local councils, plumbing forms, and licence types and scope. This workshop is specifically designed for admin or support staff to provide the knowledge and confidence to better assist their customers.

NOTE: Completing this workshop will not provide you with the relevant skills, knowledge, or licensing to carry out plumbing works and is only designed to provide general information to better assist customer service.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this workshop. 

Workshop Delivery

This workshop can be delivered from four to six hours online.

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of this workshop, learners will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the current Queensland plumbing and drainage legislation, standards and forms.

Course Recognition 

This workshop will not lead to any certifications or qualifications. On successful completion of this workshop, learners will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.

* This course is eligible for funding under the CSQ Small Business Program. Evidence and ID must be submitted upon registration.

In order to access the discount you must fulfil one of the following eligibility requirements:
